The Writer's Monthly Harbinger

Issue 1

Twilight Movie by: Moira Vitrella
Most of you Twilight fans know about the up and coming movie, but do you know who will play the roles of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan? The names of the lucky actors were recently released on the author, Stephenie Meyer's, website. But will they be able to fill the role, and the millions of fans' expectations?

Robert Pattinson will playing the role of Edward. Don't know him? I bet you do. His most popular role to date is the young Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His role in that movie was played well - and he was most certainly pleasant to look at. But is he a true Edward? Many fans say no, he is not. Handsome, but nowhere near the perfection one expects from every teen's newest heart throb. Let's hope Mr. Pattinson is up for the challenge.

Now, who will play Ms. Bella Swan? Kristen Stewart. Is her name unfamiliar? She starred in Messengers as the misunderstand teenage daughter. And, just as with Edward, many don't agree with the director's choice. Although she is an attractive young lady, she doesn't hold the Bella spark. So how will she do Twilight as the understanding daughter that falls for a vampire? Only time will tell.

Twilight is currently in the pre-production phase with Summit Entertainment. It is to be produced by Mark Morgan and Greg Mooradian and directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Hardwicke is known for directing Thirteen and The Nativity Story. I'm sure you'd all like to join in wishing them all good luck. They are going to need it.
